ANY QUESTIONS?

FAQs

How does it work?

Easy !

Get in touch (filling it the section ‘ CONTACT ‘ on the top right) specifying what you’re looking for, what’s your level (if you know so) how many lessons you are after and when you’re available.

I’ll answer you asap.

What if I can’t make it to one lesson?

Life happens ! Work, family meeting, travel … sometimes it is difficult to find some time.

I completely understand if you can’t attend the lesson, I’m just asking you to warn me at least 24h before (communication is key !). The lesson will simply be postponed to another week / day / time.

If you’re sick - no one can see that coming - the tuition won’t be charged and will be postponed.

What should I bring to the first class?

Your wonderful self, enthusiasm and probably a pen and a notepad.

Do I need to buy a book?

It is something we will decide together, after discussing your needs. If you’re a beginner, having a book might be a good idea and give you some structure. I will advise you on that matter once we meet. There are many books on the market addressed to different audience, with different goals. We’ll choose the one that fits the most of your requirements.

What can I do between lessons?

Go through your notes, memorise the vocabulary and the grammar point(s) seen in class. Do the homework if you were given some.

Depending on your level, you can also read in French (the news for instance), or watch some videos and movies.

I personally like Bien-Dire which now shares some of its content for free : https://biendire.com/en/ , TV5 Monde : https://apprendre.tv5monde.com/fr and RFI : https://savoirs.rfi.fr/fr/apprendre-enseigner
