The Teaching Approach
A little bit of everything
Every lesson will be presented to you on my computer.
We can learn with or without a book, depending on what you’d prefer. Materials used in the lesson (as well as notes and homework, if applicable) will be shared with you after the class.
We will talk only in French during the lesson. It might seem hard but I truly believe this is the fastest way to improve. After teaching both ways : using English to explain things VS using only French, I realised the second option was more efficient. From day one, you are in immersion and, sometimes without even noticing, ‘absorb’ the words and the way to pronounce them. However, clarifications can be added in English if need be.
I emphasise speaking within the lesson, without forgetting grammar and listening, to give you the opportunity to talk, work on the pronunciation and communicate as much as possible. After all, isn’t that what a language is for ?

I happily travel to my students’ home or workplace when located within a 30 minute radius from my previous location.
All we need is a quiet(ish) place with a table and a power point for my computer.
